Man arrested on suspicion of shooting roommate with shotgun after argument

A Yucca Valley man is in custody for attempted murder after police say he shot his roommate with a shotgun.

It happened Tuesday morning around 4:38AM, on the 57000 block of Chipmunk Trail in Yucca Valley. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene and determined that the suspect, 44-year-old Andrew Hinman shot at his roommate identified as 41-year-old Christopher Greco.

During an argument, Hinman confronted Greco inside the residence with a shotgun. Hinman shot Greco one time in the the right arm. Greco was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment. Hinman was arrested and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for attempted murder.
