Sullivan’s Steakhouse revamps cocktail menu
Sullivan’s Steakhouse is rolling out a brand new cocktail menu. Whether you’re into smoky or sweet, bitter or bold, Sullivan’s new cocktail menu has something for everyone. The steakhouse is revamping its menu with 15 new drinks, but don’t worry: The Knockout is still on the list.
“We’re kind of going with a prohibition-style theme, if you will. Taking classics, putting twists on them and reintroducing them to the community and making cocktails exciting again,” said general manager Jacob Higgins.
The bartenders showed us how to make a few of the new drinks, starting with the hibiscus Cosmo.
“Basically a fun twist on a classic. Doing a little Kettle One vodka, St. Germain instead of Cointreau adds more of a floral element. A little lime juice and hibiscus syrup,” said bartender Brittany Russell.
They’re also doing a fun spin on bourbon.
“If you order specific bourbons, $15 or more on the rocks, we present you with a bourbon board. And we will come with the bottle to your table and we’ll fill up the jigger, have (a) nice ice sphere in the glass and then the distilled water,” Higgins said.
Happy hour is daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on Thursdays and Sundays it’s all day!
