Yucca Valley man arrested for murder
An arrest has been made in the death of a Yucca Valley man who was found dead inside his vehicle on Aug. 6.
Tyler Cabello, 23, of Yucca Valley, was arrested Thursday and charged in the murder of 63-year-old Charles Brown.
Police said an investigation revealed that Cabella had been dating Brown’s daughter and may have committed the crime for monetary reasons.
Brown’s daughter is not believed to have been involved. Brown was found inside his vehicle on Skyline Ranch Road, a block east of Pappy and Harriet’s bar. There is no information about how Brown was killed, but investigators said there was evidence of foul play.
