Local business helps find homes for shelter dogs

A local business is working to find homes for shelter dogs. On Saturday, the Harrington Law Center in Palm Desert hosted an end-of-summer adoption party.

Dog owners and their furry friends were invited for ice cream and treats. Adoptable dogs from the Riverside County Animal Shelter were showcased on printouts, for those interested in adopting.

“We’ll pay the fee for the adoption of any dog that’s been there 16 days or longer. Some dogs have been there 30 days or longer. We want people to give them a second chance, spend some time with the animal and hopefully have a new home,” attorney Michael Harrington said.
