Coachella Animal Network kicks off August Clinic at Fantasy Springs

A big day for local dogs and cats.

Monday was the first day of Coachella Animal Network‘s August clinic at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.

The city of Indio partnered with the nonprofit in an effort to keep the shelters clear and community pets healthy through low-cost spay, neuter, microchip, vaccine and licensing services for local pet owners.

“it’s very important to get your dogs licensed in order to be in compliance with Riverside County law. You have to have a dog license, it requires certain things,” said Kim Hardee, founder of the Coachella Animal Network. If you come here to Fantasy Springs, we can take care of all of that to have you in compliance. You can get a temporary license and have all your citations go away, and that’s the beginning steps of being a responsible pet owner.”

if you are in need of low-cost services for your pet, there will be an opportunity tomorrow.

Microchipping and vaccination can be done without an appointment, but those seeking spraying, neutering, and licensing for their pets need to call (760) 848-4284 to make an appointment.
