Attempted robbery suspect wanted after ATM hold-up
An armed man attempted to rob a person near a bank in Palm Desert but fled the scene before police arrived.
The attempted robbery happened at the Chase Bank ATM on the 72000 black of Hwy 111 in Palm Desert just before 7:30 pm.
The victim reported to police that the suspect was armed with a firearm.
The suspect fled the scene with no property. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspect.
No one was injured in the incident.
