Woman killed in Desert Hot Springs shooting identified
The coroner released the name of the woman who was fatally shot in the head in Desert Hot Springs last Thursday.
The woman, identified as Alycia Alexander, 25, of Indio was pronounced dead at the Wells Fargo parking lot on the 5200 block of Ramon Road in Palm Springs.
Desert Hot Springs Police said shooting occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Oct.19 at the 65700 block 8th Street by Wardman Park.
A person tried to take Alexander to the hospital, but sometime around 10:30 p.m. stopped in the parking lot of the Wells Fargo in Palm Springs.
No word yet on what led to the shooting or suspects.
