Crews battle wildfire near elementary school

CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire crews responded to a wildfire burning near an elementary school in Thermal Saturday.

Video sent to KESQ and CBS Local 2 by Phil Burnett shows the fire burning Saturday evening at Airport Boulevard and Monroe Street, near Westside Elementary School.

Firefighters responded to the fire just before 6:00 p.m.

No other information was available.
