Driver arrested for DUI after four vehicle crash in Palm Springs

A driver was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after causing a four-vehicle crash in Palm Springs that led to three people being hospitalized with moderate injuries

The accident happened at the intersection of S Indian Canyon and E Ramon Rd at a little before 10:30 pm.

Officers at the scene said that a man, driving under the influence, was making a right turn from Ramon Rd to Indian Canyon when they struck an Uber vehicle in the intersection.

The Uber then struck a parked car. The owner of the parked car was standing next to their vehicle when the accident happened and was injured.

A fourth car was also struck.

The driver of the Uber, the passenger in the car with the driver arrested, and the owner of the parked car were all taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
