Man crashes truck into Twentynine Palms residence, arrested for DUI

Deputies from the Morongo Basin Station arrested a man early Tuesday morning for driving under the influence and crashing into a residence in Twentynine Palms.

At around 4:38 a.m., deputies responded to the 3700 block of Adobe Road for a report of a traffic collision involving a Nissan truck into a residence.

Deputies discovered Juan Marquez,21, was under the influence of alcohol, drove his truck through a fence and into the side of residence.

There were no injuries, only property damage.

Marquez was arrested and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for driving under the influence of alcohol.
