Man on probation arrested for possessing guns
A man on probation was arrested Tuesday after Indio police conducted a search at his home that yielded weapons and ammunition.
Officers found a short barrel AR-15 rifle and a Glock 21 with a 24 round extended magazine with additional ammunition inside the home of Daniel “Boonie” Rangel.

Rangel was arrested for a felony warrant and booked for several felony charges including, felon in possession of a firearm and possession of an assault weapon.
