West Elm shares Thanksgiving table setting ideas

Beautiful centerpieces, dried greenery and metallic accents are just a few things you can add to your Thanksgiving table setting to earn you the title of hostess with the mostess. We stopped by West Elm to learn two different ways to set your table on turkey day .
First style: understated elegance.

“This is something you’ll already have in your kitchen. We just added a cute printed menu, a little greenery. Just did the napkin a little differently, just to elevate it for your guests,” said lead visual lead Aysha Madison.

A collection of metallic votives and faux greenery tying the table together.

“We featured some of our mercury candle light, always a popular sell. You can use it year round. And then we also featured some flameless flicker candles, which are amazing if you don’t want them to burn down,” Madison said.

Second style: Glitzy table.

“This is more of a glam table. These aren’t plates you would use every day, these are our constellation salad plates. They’re a good conversation starter and a really great piece,” Madison said.

The astrologically themed plates put a different spin on a classic holiday setup.

If you’re looking for a great gift this holiday season, West Elm has lots of options.

“We have some great cocktail-mixing kits, which I know are really popular. Everyone loves cocktails, especially around the holidays. We also have some great cheese platters, which are great if they host another event,” Madison said.
