Riverside County Sheriff’s Department holding 911 dispatcher fair in Palm Desert

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department will hold a career fair at its Palm Desert station on Wednesday for prospective 911 dispatchers.

The fair will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the dispatch center at 73520 Fred Waring Drive. Presentations and tours regarding the dispatcher position will be available during the fair.

Walk-ins are welcome, but only those who schedule appointments will be able to take the tour of the dispatch center, due to limited space.

Walk-ins may view the presentation portion of the fair, which will contain information on the position and application process.

There will also be presentations regarding other available positions within the department, including Deputy Sheriff Trainee, Correctional Deputy, Correctional Senior Food Service Worker and other support staff positions.

To schedule an appointment or ask questions, call Human Resources at (888) Join-RSD or email HRSheriffRecruiter@rivco.org
