Big rig overturns in Coachella
All affected roads were open again in Coachella after a wreck involving a big rig.
The truck collided with another vehicle justt north of Avenue 50 and SR 86, causing the big rig to overturn Wednesday evening at approximately 6:45 p.m.
Fuel spilled from the big rig when it overturned causing closures.
The Southbound exit of SR 86 north of Avenue 50 has been shut down. The big rig is also blocking several lanes Southbound lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the driver of the big rig and a passenger in the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.

County fire and hazmat crews are on scene cleaning up the fuel spill. There is no estimated time for reopenings.
