Two people suffer minor injuries in attic fire

CAL Fire/Riverside County Firefighters were called to a fire on the 81100 block of Pindo Drive in Indio on Saturday at 10:52 a.m.

The first arriving engine company reported light smoke showing from a single story, single family home.

Further investigation revealed a working attic fire.

Two civilians were evaluated by paramedics for minor injuries.
