Man arrested for brandishing gun inside La Quinta restaurant
Police arrested a man for allegedly brandishing a gun inside a restaurant in La Quinta on Sunday.
At around 5:45 p.m. La Quinta police officers responded to the Burgers and Beer Restaurant, located at 79-815 Highway 111.
When officers arrived they arrested Enrique Chavez, 22, of Indio.
Chavez was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm and different types of narcotics.
He was booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio for being a felon in possession of a firearm, brandishing a firearm, possession of narcotics and violation of parole.
