Palm Springs High School band participates in London New Year’s Day parade

The Palm Springs High School’s Spirit of the Sands marching band performed in the 32nd annual London New Year’s Day Parade.

The band was one of amongst 8,000 performers from numerous countries that participated in the parade.

The parade went through several historic UK Capitol buildings throughout London, cheered on by an estimated 500,000 spectators. The parade was also broadcast live throughout the world.

After the parade, the band was presented with an award and the PSHS Jazz Band performed.
