Alcohol may have played a role in multi-vehicle crash that left a man with serious injuries

Major injuries reported in a multi-vehicle accident in Palm Springs.

The accident happened near the intersection of Vista Chino & Palm Canyon at around 3:15 PM.

Palm Springs police said a 65-year-old man suffered serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Police suspect alcohol played a role in the crash.

Officers closed E Vista Chino between N Indian Canyon and N Palm Canyon Dr. for around two hours.
