Earthquake felt around Southern California

There were no reports of any damage or injuries following a light earthquake centered just northwest of Lake Elsinore.

The United States Geological Survey said the quake had a magnitude of 4.0 and occurred just after 2 a.m. Thursday.

Be ready for the big one: Check out our Earthquake Alert section It was centered about eight miles northeast of Trabuco Canyon near Temescal Valley, which is west of Hemet and south of Corona.

The quake had a depth of about 6 miles.

People reported feeling light shaking from San Diego to Barstow.

There were even a few reports of people feeling the quake in Indio.
