Stolen vehicle causes crash with special needs school bus
A stolen vehicle clipped a Katherine Finchy Elementary School special needs school bus at the intersection of 30th Avenue and Date Palm Drive in Cathedral City. The suspect driving the stolen vehicle fled the scene but was later arrested. No injuries were reported.
The bus had four students on board at the time and a secondary bus was sent to the scene to pick up the children according to Palm Springs Unified School District communications manager Joan Boiko.
