Desert Hot Springs felon found with firearm, narcotics
Search warrant leads to the arrest of a Desert Hot Springs man found in possession of a firearm, ammunition, and narcotics.
Members of the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served a narcotics-related search warrant at a residence located within the 66900 block of Estrella Avenue in Deserts Hot Springs.
According to a news release by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Desert Hot Springs resident, Nicholas Sardegna, 40, was arrested after it was discovered he was in possession of narcotics (suspected methamphetamine), a firearm, ammunition, and other evidentiary items consistent with the sales of narcotics.

Sardegna was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm/ammunition, possession of methamphetamine for sales, and possession of a firearm with narcotics. He was booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.
