Police search for Palm Springs stabbing suspect
Palm Springs police were searching the North Palm Canyon area for a stabbing suspect. Anyone with information relating to the incident was urged to contact the Palm Springs Police Department.
Two transients were reportedly involved in a physical altercation at a bus stop.
A male victim was taken to a hospital for treatment with non life-threatening injuries, and said to be stable.
The suspect was described as a male Hispanic in his 40’s, approximately 6’00” 170 lbs. He was wearing a white shirt with “support the troops” written on it, with a gray thermal undershirt and dark pants.
The stabbing occurred in the area of Palm Canyon and Stevens Road in Palm Springs at approximately 1:35 p.m. Wednesday.
