New candidate in Rancho Mirage City Council race

Another hat has been tossed in for the Rancho Mirage City Council election.

Rancho Mirage resident Robert Mueller made the announcement Thursday evening at Las Casuelas Nuevas Restaurant in Rancho Mirage.

Mueller, who worked as an executive at Sony, JVC Kenwood, and Panasonic, said he is ready to lead the current council and it is time for fresh ideas and faces.

“I think the city council needs a fresh voice even though their campaign is very much the same, we have an experienced team, but there are real opportunities for Rancho Mirage that we are not owning up to,” Mueller said.

Mueller has obtained several early endorsements from local elected officials.

The Rancho Mirage Municipal election will take place in April. All voting will be done by mail.
