Power restored to more than 1,000 IID customers after outage
Power has been restored to 1,411 Imperial Irrigation District (IID) customers in Indio and Coachella after an outage Saturday.
The power was restored just before 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
According to an IID spokesperson, the outage happened around 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
The areas impacted included Cairo Avenue to Avenue 54, west of Shady Lane and east of Fredrick Street.
A troubleshooter technician was sent to the site to determine the cause of the outage.
