Riverside County gas prices rise historically

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose two-tenths of a cent today to $3.378, its highest amount since September 2015.

The average price has risen 18 consecutive days, increasing 19.7 cents, including a half-cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 6.1 cents more than one week ago, 25.7 cents higher than one month ago and 54.4 cents greater than one year ago.

The average price has risen 30.5 cents since the start of the year.
