Attorney Michael Harrington announces Rancho Mirage City Council candidacy

Local attorney Michael Harrington announces his candidacy for the Rancho Mirage City Council.

Harrington made the announcement Monday evening at an event at Dringk at the River in Rancho Mirage. He said he is running because he feels the council needs consistent leadership to guide the city into the future.

“I want to do much more to work with our local businesses to revitalize our downtown to create a public space to build on this concept or not just a private mall but a public space that we can truly call our downtown,” Harrington said.

Harrington works as an attorney for the Rancho Mirage-based Harington Law Center and is a long-time resident of the city. You can find more information about Harrington here.

Rancho Mirage businessman Robert Mueller announced his candidacy last week. The Rancho Mirage Municipal election will take place April 10. It is a vote by mail only ballot election.
