Girl Scout sells 300 boxes of cookies outside marijuana dispensary

Cookie sales hit a new high for a 9-year old Girl Scout who set up outside a marijuana dispensary in San Diego.

Our sister station, KABC says, according to her father, she sold more than 300 boxes in about six hours outside Urbn Leaf marijuana dispensary over the weekend.

The girl is not being identified but an instagram pic posted by the dispensary has gone viral as she holds an armful of cookies.

Girl Scouts San Diego says booth sales do not start for another week, but until then, scouts are allowed to sell from wagons as long as they have a parent or guardian present.
