Molotov cocktails found in Desert Hot Springs home

Three arrested after officers find two Molotov Cocktails inside a Desert Hot Springs residence

Desert Hot Springs police officers responded to a report of a family disturbance at a resident in the 66000 block of 2nd St.

The people in the residence refused to cooperate, but after 30 minutes finally exited the residence after officers conducted a surround and call out due to the circumstances of the scene.

Officers then conducted a probation search, during the search they located two Molotov cocktails in the kitchen.

Bernadette Noriega, 49

her son, Jesus Noriega, 28

and Mario Vigel, 19

were arrested for possession of an explosive device and child endangerment among other charges.

All three were transported and booked into RSO Banning Jail.
