Desert Hot Springs shooting leaves one injured
Man hospitalized with gunshot wounds in Desert Hot Springs Monday evening.
The shooting happened on the 66300 block of Cahuilla Avenue in Desert Hot Springs shortly before 7:00 pm.
According to Desert Hot Springs police, a Hispanic adult man suffered several non-life threatening gunshots wounds in the upper body.
Cahuilla between Cactus Drive and Palm Drive was closed for an investigation. The man, who does not live in the area, was alert when he was being taken to the hospital, police confirmed.
No arrests have been made and no suspect information was released.
