Home Depot plans to bring 250 jobs to Coachella Valley
If you’re out of work and love orange aprons, the Coachella Valley might just be your newest employment destination. The Home Depot has announced that it’s bringing 250 jobs to the Coachella Valley as part of a larger nationwide plan to hire 80,000 associates ahead of its “busiest selling season,” according to a company news release.
“From sales and cashiers to operations and online order fulfillment, opportunities include both permanent part-time and seasonal positions in the company’s stores and distribution facilities,” the release reads. “College students, retirees and veterans are encouraged to apply.”
The application process takes “about 15 minutes” and can be kicked off by heading to careers.homedepot.com or by texting “HOMEDEPOT” to 52270 to receive a mobile application link.
Home Depot touts 2,284 retail stores across 50 states and employs over 400,000 workers. The 250 new jobs will be distributed across the Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta, and Indio Home Depot locations.
