Crews extinguish ‘suspicious’ Desert Hot Springs home fire
Riverside County CAL Fire is on scene of a structure fire on the 66100 block of 2nd Street Desert Hot Springs. It started at 5:23 am. The first arriving engine reported an abandoned house in flames.
Crews had flames out by about 6:00 am.
A neighbor told our reporter it was a vacant home and it’s the second time it caught fire. Fire crews confirmed this home was on fire a week and a half ago.
No injuries reported. The fire is being called suspicious. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
