Police still searching for Desert Hot Springs homicide suspect

Police are still searching for a suspect wanted in a Desert Hot Springs shooting that left one person dead and one seriously injured, according to Desert Hot Springs Police Chief Dale Mondary. Police are still investigating and the suspect is yet to be identified.

On Wednesday night, police responded to reports of a shooting on the 12000 block of Avenida Alta Loma in Desert Hot Springs. When they arrived on the scene, they found a man dead from a gunshot wound and a woman suffering from what police described as ‘non-life-threatening injuries.’

The woman was rushed to the hospital from the scene and is still in the Intensive Care Unit. She is expected to survive.

Police are investigating this case as a homicide.
