Yelp names Indio deli best place to eat in the U.S.
TKB Bakery & Deli in Indio tops Yelp’s list of top 100 places to eat in 2018.
The bakery has been hovering in the top five for years, but this year, they finally broke through the glass ceiling and took the top spot.
In 2015 the bakery made their list debut at 4th place. In 2016, the bakery slipped to 5th place where they remained at in 2017.
TKB stands for “The Kids Business,” it was started more than 20 years ago by local siblings Brandon, Melina, and Nathan Sippel. They say they started making sandwiches because they wanted to make some extra money for Christmas.
TKB is right off the I-10 on Golf Center Parkway in Indio.
