Martha’s Village announces new $5 million campaign

Martha’s Village and Kitchen has a new campaign to meet the needs of the growing population of the poor and homeless in the Coachella Valley.

The new campaign is a 5-year, $ 5 million effort working to provide much-needed services.

Child care and development, food services, job training, along with improving and building shelter spaces with safety upgrades.

Martha’s Village has served Coachella Valley’s homeless and impoverished individuals and families for 27 years and invites your support for its efforts to renew hope and rebuild lives.

“Of course, Martha’s has been around for many years and that is our goal to help those in need. A lot of clients we do help are not just homeless population. We do a lot of homeless prevention because families who have an apartment, they may not have enough funds for food, and they’re able to use our free services of daily meals,” said Rosa Torres, Senior Manager of Martha’s Village and Kitchen.
