Toddler airlifted after falling out of a two-story window in Indio

A toddler is being airlifted after falling out of a two-story window in Indio.

According to Sgt Dan Marshall of the Indio Police Department, a three-year-old toddler fell out of a two-story window.

Cal Fire confirmed the incident happened on the 83400 block of Gemini Street at just before 3:30 pm.

A medical helicopter landed on the nearby Davis Field. Indio police is providing traffic control in the area.

Sgt Marshall said no arrests have been made, but the incident will be reported to agencies who advocate for children based on the age of the child and the severity of the incident.
