Motorcyclist hospitalized with major injuries after I-10 collision
A motorcyclist suffered major injuries Saturday morning after an accident on Interstate 10 in Palm Desert.
It happened around 10:20 a.m. eastbound lanes jus east of Monterey, said a dispatcher with the California Highway Patrol.According to the CHP, the motorcycle collided with a vehicle, shutting down the number one lane on the highway. No one else was hurt. The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital in an ambulance.
The road was reopened by 11:06 a.m.
