Woman caught stealing package from front porch

Woman arrested after being caught on camera stealing a package from a front porch.

Daina Lancaster, 47 of La Quinta, was arrested following an investigation by the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team Officers into a package theft that occurred in the 53200 block of Avenida Rubio.

According to the La Quinta Police Department, Lancaster was caught on video surveillance walking up to the front porch of a residence then walking away with a large package that did not belong to her.

Lancaster was identified by her previous arrest during a large probation sweep in La Quinta back in January of 2018. She was arrested and booked into the Indio Jail.
