Two injured following multi-vehicle crash on I-10 westbound

Cal Fire & the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a 5-vehicle crash on I-10 westbound near SR-62 in Palm Springs at just before 5 p.m.

3 lanes were blocked and one driver was trapped in a car. Traffic is currently backed up all the way to Indian Canyon in Palm Springs.

Cal Fire also extricated a driver from their vehicle. According to CHP, two people were transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
