Yucca Valley man dies after motorcycle crash

A 50-year-old Yucca Valley man is dead after crashing his motorcycle with an SUV Saturday night.

Deputies responded to the crash on the 58100 block of Twentynine Palms Highway, east of Balsa Avenue in Yucca Valley just after 8:00 p.m.

Deputies said they learned the motorcycle traveling east on Twentynine Palm Highway crashed with an SUV turning left from westbound lanes into the parking lot of an AMPM.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.
