Cathedral City police investigating a homicide in the Whispering Palms area
Man dead after possible assault in Cathedral City.
Cathedral City police were dispatched to assist paramedics with a possible assault victim, Wednesday just before 9:45 pm in the 31300 Block of Whispering Palms Trail.
Officers found a 46-year-old man suffering from trauma to the body. The man was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, according to a news release by the CCPD.
