Annual Palm Springs Firemen’s Association Easter Egg Hunt held

The annual Palm Springs Firemen’s Association Easter Egg Hunt had kids hunting through Ruth Hardy Park in Palm Springs Saturday morning. The event featured more than 3,000 strategically hidden Easter eggs.

It was the 40th year families have flocked to the park for a day of fun. Families got to take pictures with the Easter bunny and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast.

“I remember coming here as a kid we do this event for the families. It’s great; the joke is it starts at 9 and it’s over by 9:04.” said fire captain Greg Lyle. “That’s what happens its just this fun event where everyone goes and enjoys the park.”

The fire department said it is important for them to keep the tradition alive and give back to their city.
