Highway 74 open in both directions after vehicle runs off roadway

Update: Highway 74 back open in both directions Saturday morning after a car went off the roadway around 9:30 Friday night.

Original: Authorities have shut down Highway 74 on both sides after a vehicle ran off the roadway.

The accident happened near Vista Point. According to the California Highway Patrol, the vehicle was found on its side at the bottom of the hill.

No word on injuries at this time.
