Pernilla Lindberg wins the ANA Inspiration
UPDATE: After an 8-hole Monday morning playoff, Pernilla Lindberg has been declared the winner of the ANA Inspiration. Lindberg, who hails from Sweden, defeated South Korean Inbee Park.

The victory is the first LPGA victory for Lindberg. The 31-year-old was ranked #95 in the LPGA tour entering this tournament.
Park, who won the ANA Inspiration in 2013, has racked up 19 total LPGA tour wins. She is currently ranked #9 on the LPGA tour.

Four playoff holes in a 3-way playoff at the 2018 ANA Inspiration weren’t enough to decide a winner before sundown Sunday in Rancho Mirage.
Jennifer Song, Inbee Park, and Pernilla Lindberg all finished 15-under and went par-par the first two playoff holes.

In the third playoff hole Park and Lindberg both birdied while Song went par to have it come down to Park and Lindberg on the 4th playoff.
Despite darkness taking over the course, they played the hole and both went par again to force the 5th playoff on Monday at 8 a.m.
Inbee Park and Pernilla Lindberg will play holes 10, 17 and 18 on repeat in sudden death format until there is a champion.
All fans will be admitted free of charge on Monday. Spectator parking and shuttles will open at 6:30 a.m. at the Agua Caliente.
The conclusion of the ANA Inspiration will be broadcast live on Golf Channel beginning at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT.
