Shadow Hills senior wins prestigious “Spirit of Sport Award”
Luis Fernandez is a senior at Shadow Hills High School who competes on the cross country team as well as track & field. He is deaf but that didn’t stop him from having a great career with the Knights and even more importantly helped influence other deaf athletes to compete in their respective sport. Fernandez was honored with the prestigious “Spirit of Sport Award” at a CIF banquet in San Jose.
