Five hurt in crash on Highway 111 in Palm Desert

Five people suffered minor injuries today in a collision on Highway 111 in Palm Desert, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 6:54 p.m. on Highway 111 at Town Center Way, the Riverside County Fire Department’s Jody Hagemann said.

“All were transported via Riverside County paramedics to area hospitals,” Hagemann said.

Details about the crash were not available. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was investigating, she said.
