FIND Food Bank Telethon brings in a grand total of $187,000

2018’s FIND Food Bank Telethon may have wrapped on Friday, but the giving didn’t completely settle once the broadcast ended. The Telethon managed to raise $187,000, a total that is sure to go a long way; for every dollar raised, FIND is able to provide 7 meals to those in need.

Each year, FIND provides 10+ million pounds of food assistance and each month, over 85,000 people access some form of food assistance through FIND’s distribution network.

For more information on FIND Food Bank, go www.findfoodbank.org, and be sure to lend a hand when you can – in the fiscal year from 2016 to 2017, FIND Food Bank saw almost 4,800 volunteers donate over 15,500 hours of service.
