Man caught on camera stealing package from Cathedral City home
A man was caught on camera stealing a package from the front porch of a Cathedral City residence at approximately 1:06 p.m. Sunday. The video was sent along to KESQ News Channel 3 & CBS Local 2 by the homeowner.
The thief appears to be male with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a dark shirt and plaid shorts at the time of the incident. The home is located near Whispering Palms Trail and 30th Avenue in Cathedral City.
“My children are devastated and feel very unsafe in their new home,” says the homeowner. “I feel that this is been happening way too much in the valley and it needs to stop. Everyone should be on high alert.”
The homeowner has filed a report with the Cathedral City Police Department and is in the process of filing claims with both the United States Postal Service and Amazon.
