New business to open at ‘The River’
A new business is expected to set up shop at The River this fall.
The Kids Clubhouse is tentatively scheduled to open in September 2018, according to owner Aileen Lin.
The 8,000 square foot indoor playground for children ages six months and older will operate on the second story of the Rancho Mirage shopping complex next to the Escape Room.
“There will be three distinct areas of the Clubhouse. An active play area, a themed “mini-town” for pretend play and a 12 year and up gaming lounge with 10 plus gaming console stations including Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox,” Lin described.
The response was warm on Facebook, where The Kids Clubhouse made their big announcement on Monday.
“The Kids Clubhouse is not a franchise. It’s a local, family-owned business that my daughter and I will be designing and running together,” says Lin. “It will be the premier place to have birthday parties and events.”
