“No threat” at Palm Springs IRS building, suspicious item was soda can with note

Update: There is no threat at the building and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Hazardous Device Team has left the scene.

The suspicious item was large soda can with a note posted on it. PSPD has not released information on what was written on the note.

Palm Springs Police responded to reports a suspicious item in front of the IRS Building in the 500 block of Paseo Dorotea in Palm Springs at approximately 11:15 a.m this morning.
