SunLine offers free bus rides on Earth Day

If you haven’t set your transportation plans for Earth Day yet, there’s some welcome news coming your way. The SunLine Transit Agency announced today that it will be offering free rides to its passengers on Sunday, April 22, in celebration of Earth Day.

“At SunLine, Earth Day is every day as we have a longstanding commitment to the environment with our clean fuels fleet – which helps us do our part to ensure our natural resources are preserved for future generations,” said Lauren Skiver, CEO/General Manager of SunLine Transit Agency.

In order to redeem the free ride, passengers are instructed to go to www.sunline.org and print out a Day Free Ride coupon, or better yet, pull it up on a smartphone or other electronic device. Present the coupon to the driver before boarding, and then you’re set to jet [or rather, set to bus.]
